Adult Day Services
Habilitative training and support services in the areas of social community activities,
leisure skills, self-care, daily living skills and work activities are provided to adults
with developmental disabilities that have multiple needs.
Work Services:
Employment opportunities are provided to adults with mild to moderate developmental
disabilities. Services include Job Coaches/Trainers; Vocational Evaluations; Ongoing
Support; Job Skills Training; and Consumer-Directed Goals.
Business Platforms include: Bay Produce; Marathon Industries; Community Sites
Residential Services:
A continuum of service options exist, from Independent Living Support in the consumer's
own home, to small group residences that offer limited training and support, to group homes
that provide supervision and assistance 24 hours per day in an homelike atmosphere.
Adults with developmental disabilities or special needs are offered services and living
arrangements based on their individual needs to foster and maintain independence while
enjoying the mainstream of our community.
Professional Services:
State approved training is provided to Challenge Center staff as well as the staff of other
service agencies in the region. Trainings are available on and off site and can be
customized to meet specific organizational needs.
Behavior Resource Team is available to provide consultation regarding challenging behaviors. |
